Henry P. Iba Citizen Athlete Awards

The Rotary Club of Tulsa created the Henry P. Iba Citizen Athlete Awards in 1993. It annually recognizes an influential male and female athlete for their success in their sport and more importantly, for being positive role models who give back to their communities. Not simply by donating to worthy causes, but by being personally dedicated and involved in their chosen charities. The awards are named after Henry P. Iba who was an unparalleled success as a coach, a leader and a citizen. Recipients are selected by the Iba Awards committee and are announced prior to the Iba Awards, which is a festive event held in June in Tulsa, OK. Each recipient receives a trophy and partner charities benefit from the night's proceeds from as well as the Rotary Club of Tulsa Foundation.
