More Grants Awarded to Area Non-profits

Helping-Hands-smaller-for-website2The Rotary Club of Tulsa awarded more than $50,000 in grants during the first half of the 2012-2013 fiscal year.

The following deserving non-profits were awarded grants:

  • Counseling & Recovery Services, $3,200 for chairs
  • Arthritis Foundation, $2,000 for scan machine
  • Tulsa Children’s Museum, $5,136 for extruder makerbots
  • Kendall Whittier, $400 for computer printer
  • Arts & Humanities Council, $3,500 for website
  • Community Action Project, $4,459 for hemoglobin monitors
  • Town & Country School, $5,000 to convert kitchen to classroom
  • Tulsa Opera, $5,971 for telephone system
  • Sandite Child Development, $4500 for playground improvement
  • Air & Space Museum, $7,000 for computers
  • RSVP, $4,200 for computers and equipment
  • Rebuilding Together, $1,648 for digital camera and equipment
  • Show, $1,097 for misc. equipment
  • Palmer Care, $1,000 for laptops
